Highlights/ Sample of Coursework:
After being a tour guide in a few different museums, I was happy to gain an understanding of the higher functioning in museums. The field trips to the Historic New England Library and Archives and the Windsor Historical Society gave me a wonderful opportunity to tour working facilities and speak with professionals in the field. During one of the field trips, I became interested in the challenges of cataloging library, archival, and museum holdings in the same computer system.
- Analytical Paper: Historic New England Library and Archives: How it Demonstrates Archival Work (This paper reflects my own views and not those of Historic New England.)
- Analytical Paper: Windsor Historical Society: How it Supports the Mission of Museums
- Exploratory Paper: Cataloging in Libraries and Museums
